Position: Area Sales Manager
a. Location: Hyderabad
b. Job Profile:·
Development of a comprehensive sales strategy for an area, covering all aspects of opportunity (brands, alternative distribution channels, key districts, infrastructure, FO/ISR working efficiently etc.) and setting directions for his area·
Making accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts·
Ensuring sales delivery based on the forecasts by optimal utilization of all available resources (manpower, distributors, infrastructure, promotions etc)·
Identification of key account customers of his area, understanding their business needs, and responding to them·
Understanding the dynamics of the market, particularly distributor associations, and use this to effectively manage distributors and resolve issues of conflict·
Making distributor selection by analyzing relevant information·
Taking up local activities by making use of creative promotional schemes·
Training Field Officers for new initiatives and Reports

c. Requirements: Candidates from Premier B School 2003 / 2004 / 2005 batch
d. Experience: 2 – 4 years of experience in FMCG sales.
e.Other Requirements: Sales experience in relevant geographical area is preferred; knowing of the local language is a mustf.
